Bitcoin network vitals and miner health. Live right now: hashrate, difficulty, network fees and miner revenue from mempool.space, plus the BTC price charts. Bitcoin L1 network, economic and coin-age metrics from Open Bitcoin Metrics are shown as latest available daily closes, which run about five days behind today — never as live or 24-hour readings.
Network Health
Bitcoin network vitals — hashrate, difficulty, fees, miner revenue and the risk meter are live from mempool.space. Below them, a second and independently licensed Bitcoin L1 series from Open Bitcoin Metrics, published as daily closes that run about five days behind today.

Methodology, units and attribution
Open Bitcoin Metrics recomputes Bitcoin layer-1 metrics from a full node and commits them daily, but the newest row it publishes trails the present by roughly five days. Every figure in this section is therefore the latest available daily close for the date shown above — not a live, intraday or 24-hour reading, and not a description of today.
Coverage is Bitcoin layer 1 only. Nothing here is a market-wide, multi-chain or all-asset total. The source publishes no entity-adjusted address data, so no active-address, new-address, exchange-flow, miner-reserve or wallet-label figure is derived from it anywhere on this page.
- Blocks mined — number of blocks in the UTC day.
- Block weight — total block weight for the UTC day, in weight units (WU).
- Difficulty — the difficulty level in force at the end of the UTC day, not an average over it.
- Estimated hashrate — hashrate implied by blocks found over a trailing 7-day window, in exahashes per second (EH/s). It is an estimate, not a measurement.
- Fees paid and miner revenue — daily totals denominated in BTC, not in fiat. No exchange rate is applied and no USD figure is implied.
- Fee share of miner revenue — fees divided by total miner revenue for the same UTC day, published as a ratio between 0 and 1 and displayed here as a percentage.

- Transactions confirmed — count of transactions included in blocks during the UTC day.
- UTXO count — number of unspent transaction outputs in the set at the end of the UTC day. It counts outputs, not addresses, wallets or people.
- Spent value — total BTC value of outputs spent during the UTC day. It includes change returning to the sender, so it is gross movement rather than economic transfer volume.
- Ethereum execution activity is not shown here. Its intended source has not been verified, so the metric is absent rather than displayed empty.

- Issuance — BTC created by block subsidies during the UTC day.
- Circulating supply — cumulative issued BTC at the end of the UTC day. It is not adjusted for provably lost or unmovable coin, so it is issued supply rather than economically available supply.
- Fee share of miner revenue — fees divided by total miner revenue for the same UTC day, published as a ratio between 0 and 1 and displayed here as a percentage.
- Spent value — total BTC value of outputs spent during the UTC day, change included.
- Spent value, coins under 155 days old — the part of that spent value whose inputs were created fewer than 155 days before being spent. 155 days is the source's own threshold and is a convention, not a measured behavioural boundary.
- All amounts are in BTC. No exchange rate is applied anywhere in this section and no fiat value is implied.

Coin Age
Coin days destroyed, its age-band breakdown, dormancy, liveliness and the split between old and young coin being spent — Bitcoin layer 1 only, as latest available daily closes about five days behind today.
Bitcoin L1 daily close — Open Bitcoin Metrics

- Coin days destroyed — for every output spent in the UTC day, its BTC value multiplied by the number of days since it was created, summed. The unit is BTC-days, not BTC.
- CDD per unit of supply — coin days destroyed divided by circulating supply for the same day, in days. It makes the figure comparable across eras in which supply differs.
- Dormancy — coin days destroyed divided by the BTC value spent that day. It is the average age, in days, of each BTC that moved.
- Liveliness — cumulative coin days destroyed divided by cumulative coin days created, a ratio between 0 and 1. It rises when older coin moves and falls when coin sits still.
- Age bands — the source's own twelve-band split of coin days destroyed by output age. The band names and boundaries are the source's; they are rendered exactly as published and are not renamed or re-bucketed.
- Old-coin share of spent value is calculated by AtenaCrypto as: spent value of coins 155 days or older, divided by the sum of that and the spent value of coins under 155 days old, for the same published UTC day. It is shown only when both inputs exist for that day; if either is missing the figure is left blank rather than completed from one side.
- These metrics describe the age of spent outputs and nothing else. They do not identify holders, entities, exchanges or wallets, and must not be read as long-term-holder, exchange-flow or whale behaviour.

MEV
MEV value per block, the builders that produced those blocks and how concentrated they are — measured over a window of Ethereum blocks delivered through the Flashbots relay. Everything here is indexed by block height, because this dataset publishes no per-block timestamps.
MEV by block — Chainticks mev-tape
Every figure below describes one window of Ethereum blocks and nothing outside it. It is not a day, an hour or a 24-hour reading: this dataset carries no per-block timestamps, so a time window could not be measured and none is claimed. Values are native ETH, never converted to US dollars.

About this data
- Update frequency
- Refreshed when the upstream dataset is republished. No interval is claimed — the data carries no timestamps to measure one from.
- Timezone
- UTC is the source's declared timezone, but no figure here is placed on a clock: this dataset publishes no per-block timestamps.
What this dataset cannot show
- No time axis This dataset publishes no per-block timestamps, so every figure and every chart here is indexed by block height. Nothing is labelled 24h, today or recent, and no time series is drawn.
- No relay share One relay is present in this data: Flashbots. A relay share would be 100% by construction, so none is shown. This is our coverage limit, not a measurement of the MEV market, which also runs through relays this dataset does not carry.
- No tip figure The tip / priority-fee field is empty in this dataset, so no tip, priority fee or proposer payment is shown or estimated anywhere in this section.

Data unavailable
The MEV feed could not be reached, so no figures are shown. Nothing here is estimated, carried over from an earlier window, or defaulted to zero when the source is missing — a zero would be a measurement, and no measurement was obtained.
Stale data
The backend reports that this window has not been refreshed from the upstream dataset for longer than expected. The figures are still shown and still describe exactly the block range printed above — they have simply not moved forward since.
One point per block, plotted against block height. The dashed line is the median of this window. Amber points are the outlier blocks listed further down. The horizontal axis is block height and not time — this dataset publishes no per-block timestamps, so no date, hour or 24-hour window can be shown.

Blocks whose MEV value reaches a multiple of this window's median. The multiple and the resulting threshold in ETH are stated below the table, and each of these blocks is marked in amber on the chart above at its own block height.

Methodology, units and attribution
Every figure in this section is a property of one window of Ethereum blocks, stated above as a block count and a first-to-last block range. It is not a day, an hour or a rolling 24-hour figure. The upstream dataset carries no usable per-block timestamps, so no time window could be measured and none is claimed; block height is used as the index because it is an axis this data genuinely has. The rows are sorted and de-duplicated by block number on ingestion rather than trusted in file order.
Coverage is Ethereum blocks delivered through the Flashbots relay, and only those. This is not the whole MEV market, not all relays and not a market-wide total. Because exactly one relay is present, a relay share would be 100% by construction, so no relay share, relay chart or relay percentage is shown anywhere.
- Units — all MEV values are native ETH, exactly as the source publishes them. No exchange rate is applied and no US dollar figure is shown or implied.
- MEV value per block — the value recorded for each block in the window, one point per block, plotted against block height.
- Median MEV per block — the median of those per-block values across this window. The median, not the mean, because a handful of very large blocks would drag an average away from the typical block.
- Builder blocks and share — the number of blocks in this window each builder produced, and that count divided by the number of blocks in the window. It is a share of blocks, by count, not a share of MEV value and not a share of any market.
- MEV per builder — the sum of the per-block MEV values of the blocks that builder produced in this window, in native ETH. It is a sum over this window only, never a builder’s total MEV or a share of the MEV market.
- Builder concentration — the Herfindahl index (HHI), calculated as the sum of the squares of each builder's share of blocks in this window, with shares expressed as fractions between 0 and 1: HHI = Σ(sᵢ)², where sᵢ is builder i's blocks divided by all blocks in the window. It runs from close to 0, meaning many builders of similar size, to 1, meaning a single builder produced every block. It is reported next to the largest builder's share because the two answer different questions: one describes the whole distribution, the other only its top.
- Outlier blocks — blocks whose MEV value is at or above a fixed multiple of this window's median. The multiple is set by the backend and is printed on screen with the resulting threshold in ETH, rather than being hidden in this text, so the figure a reader sees is always the one that was actually applied.
- Missing values — a metric the feed does not carry is left blank and labelled, never shown as zero. When the route cannot be reached at all, every figure in this section reads unavailable; a zero here would be a measurement, and none was made.
- Names and addresses — builder identifiers and transaction hashes are rendered exactly as the source publishes them. They are not joined to names, social profiles, exchange or entity labels, or to any Atena account.
- No tip or priority-fee figure is shown. The field exists in the upstream schema but is empty in the published data, so it is reported as unavailable rather than estimated from anything else.
